The course is a par 71 (provisional, 18 hole layout, 5976 metres long and built according to United States Golf Association (USGA) rules in terms of tees, bunkers, drainage and greens. It was designed by the renowned Malaga architect, Antonio Garcia Garridom the man responsible for some of Spain's top courses.
The most notable features of this course, developed by Grupo Evemarina, is the extensive size of the greens. sown with Agrostis Pen-G2 grass and having an average area of 700 m2 some even exceeding 1000 m2.
The golf course has two very different layouts, being suitable for any type of player, the 9 holes are longer and more difficult, winding between indigenous trees, lakes and rivers while the other 9 are more manageable, having a gentle incline, and being within close proximity to the sea.
