The two golf courses at La Cala are the main attraction of the resort. Both La Cala North (Par 73) and La Cala South (Par 72) have been designed by North American architect Cabell B. Robinson. In a difficult and winding area, as Robinson says, the terrain for the La Cala course made it my most challenging course construction project.
The South Course is also spectacular. The 1st, 9th, 10th, and 18th are all located beside the Clubhouse. There are two interesting holes with water hazards on the 5th and 12th hole. A picturesque par 3 on the 11th, and watch where you hit the ball on the 9th, or you might end up in trouble.
Ideal complements are the clubhouse with its bar and pro shop, and the prestigious David Leadbetter Golf Academy, with a large driving range, surrounded by a Par 3 course. In the near future, 18 holes (also designed by Robinson) will be added to the facilities.
